A little clarity. More room for Relations.

You’re more than a set of answers.

A single peach-coloured drop landing on still water, sending out soft ripples
Why it feels different

It asks about moments, not adjectives.

Most personality apps ask you to rate yourself. Damla asks what actually happened — and treats a real moment as stronger evidence than a label you pick for yourself.

  1. Damla

Think about a moment from your week that stayed with you. What happened, and what did you do?

  2. You

My train was cancelled. I changed my plans on the spot and walked over to a friend’s place instead.

  3. Damla

There is a clue in the way you describe what you did. I would want more examples before treating it as a pattern.

The last time something upset you, did you talk it through or take time by yourself? What happened?

What it noted
  • One clue, in your own words: I changed my plans on the spot
  • Counted as a real moment — weighted above a self-description.
  • Not a pattern yet. Every estimate stays tentative and shows its clues.

A real exchange from the app’s offline prompts. Damla uses written prompts and phrase matching on your device — no AI in this release.

A space to think aloud

Let’s talk.

Write or dictate a few real moments. Damla reflects them back gently, asks one thing at a time, and builds a tentative picture across sixteen animal profiles.

Discover yourself

A guided conversation about everyday moments — how you recover, decide, plan and react. No multiple-choice quiz.

See the clues

Every estimate shows the quotes behind it and how uncertain it still is. You can always choose your own profile.

Relations

Make room for the people in your life. Add a partner, parent, friend or colleague, choose a tentative profile and keep private notes.

Ask Damla

Bring a situation with someone and get a general reflection and one thing to try — never a verdict about them.

Private by design

Your words stay on your phone.

There is no account, no feed, no ads and no tracking. Conversations, notes and Relations are stored encrypted on your device and never sent to us.

Optional voice dictation is handled by Apple’s speech recognition, which may process audio online. You decide if you use it.

Delete everything at any time from Settings. Read the privacy policy.

Honest about its limits

What Damla is not.

  • Not a test or a diagnosis. It is a reflection tool, not a scientific, clinical or psychological assessment.
  • Not therapy or a crisis service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services. Safety resources.
  • Not a hiring tool. Damla refuses to judge, hire or fire anyone by type.
  • Not a way to read other people. One person’s account can’t settle someone else’s type.
  • Not AI, in this version. Replies come from written prompts and phrase matching on your device.
  • No account, no feed, no ads. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to scroll.
